Mustard Mashed Potatoes
A yummy and filling side dish that requires some mashing and mixing.
- 4-5 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 oz. butter
- 2 fluid oz. milk
- 3-4 tbsp crème fraîche or Greek yogurt
- 3 heaped tbsp stoneground English mustard (the condiment, not powder - I like Colemans)
- salt and pepper
Boil the potatoes until soft. Drain the potatoes and put back in the saucepan. Add the butter and milk and mash with a potato masher. Add the yogurt or crème fraîche and the mustard and mix thoroughly. Season to taste.
