Web design is something I want to do a lot more of. I did a lot of smal sites in the distant past - I worked at the Microsoft-owned Sidewalk.com, I designed small business sites, I made science education sites for NASA and I co-ordinated online information sites for Peoplesoft print campaigns. I drifted away from web during the “browser wars” period - when any page required a code soup of browser sniffers, hacks and complex workarounds. But the new possibilities and standards have lured me back just in time to see the web mature. CSS, standards-based design, HTML5, tablets and much more have got me very excited about the web again.
