The Wedding Sweepstakes kit is a novelty betting game available free from paddypower.com. The goal of this offering is to increase brand awareness by offering a humourous and fun way to bet during the spring and summer wedding season. I designed both the kit and the website to appeal to the bride. While betting on how long each wedding speech will be is a fun way to keep guests from getting bored, the design itself had to avoid the usual Paddy Power green or sports branding. I wanted to make sure brides would actually consider using the kit on their special day. Takeup of the kit shot up 60% after this site redesign and subsequent press ads I designed in tandem.
